I had never worked for an executive that truly did not care or in fact undermined staff. .. until Spin Master! Apparently that kind of thing starts from the top. All of the executives treat their assistants terribly - I mean awful! The turnover rate is extremely high because of this. The worklife balance is completely nonexistent. There were moments that I was yelled at for not answering calls or emails on my days off. I was also told to send out emails well past the end of the work day. Often working long hours and not once being offered lieu days or overtime. There was not even an attitude of thanks because it’s just a part of Spin Master’s culture. I can honestly say that I am grateful to be out of here. After 10 years of assisting executives, this was the worst experience by a landslide. There is very much an every man for themselves kind of attitude here because of how employees are treated. Be careful if you’re walking into this environment without reading all of the reviews.
