As a remote-first company, we place a high priority on building strong working relationships and effective collaboration across distributed teams. Requiring cameras to be on during team meetings is a deliberate, consistent, and clearly communicated part of our culture. With a remote-first workforce, we have found that camera-on conversations are more engaging, team members are more connected, and communication is clear.
This policy applies consistently to all team members, from C-level throughout the entire organization. Participation in this shared expectation is important for maintaining the collaborative environment we work hard to foster.
