Pros

Technology shift into 21st Century was a good first step. Now, invest some time & training in your claims people, especially the new hires. A good start would be a three week intensive training period to enable them to understand basic principles, ramp up to full claim loads and become self-actualized.

Cons

Management's "Speak freely without fear of reprisal" is lip service. There is a very distinct culture of fear permeating the company since executive management changed 2 years ago.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Since Mike came on board two years ago, he has been clear about building a culture of candor and ideas. He's talked about it often and has a team working to ensure this cultural transformation takes place. Your comments about the culture of fear are very concerning to us, and I'd like to ask you to share more so we can take action or at minimum learn from your experiences. Will you contact your Associate Relations Business Partner, or even contact Mike directly with your concerns? You can also reach out to me if that would be helpful, to help you get to the right person to talk to. Thank you. -Katie Peet
