Pros

Profit sharing annual bonus is the only great pro to working at Streck. However, the bonus is only given if the company overall meets annual goals.

Cons

Lousy PTO, must be a part of the good old boy club to be promoted, management lacks people skills, HR has no direction, management goes through employees instant messages and emails to find out what employees are doing, dress code isn't followed and extreme favoritism. In the 2 years I was there, all but 1 employee in HR has left the company. Based on my work performance and skills I was more than qualified for a promotion. My supervisor wouldn't promote me because she read an unfavorable instant message between me and another employee about her. She said I needed to earn her trust before she would consider me for a promotion. My supervisor set up a meeting with me to inform me that I need to falsify monthly reports so the President doesn't see anything negative that had happened in my report. Management regularly looks through social media accounts to see what employees are doing outside of work. Mainly checking Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. Management regularly sends bullying email to employees. HR follows whatever path management requests of them. There is nothing across the board that HR follows. They don't even follow the company handbook if a manager doesn't want to follow a policy, then it's not followed and nothing is done about it.

Pros

One of the biggest pros of working for this company was its strong focus on work-life balance, which allowed employees to maintain a healthy blend between professional and personal life. The modern and well-designed office building created a comfortable and motivating environment to work in every day. Being part of the healthcare industry also made the work meaningful, knowing that our efforts contributed to improving people’s well-being. Additionally, the company’s profit-sharing program was a great incentive, recognizing and rewarding employees for their contributions to the organization’s overall success.

Cons

One of the main downsides of working for this company was that management needed significant improvement, as communication and decision-making often lacked transparency and consistency. Over time, office politics and nepotism began to influence promotions and opportunities, which affected team morale and collaboration. These issues gradually started to impact the overall workplace culture, making it harder for employees to stay motivated and feel recognized based on merit.
