DO NOT BECOME AN ELITE NOTETAKER WITH StudySoup! Last year I would have recommended it to anyone who is in college classes, this year they have changed everything and the note takers are really getting the short end of the stick when it comes to payment. We used to get commission for sales, no longer do. We used to be able to post for all of our classes, now they say that we can only be paid for 3, but still want us to post for all of our classes so that they make more money. Everyone that I have reached out about this issue has been rude and condescending. I have over 700 people who follow my account for my notes and study guides for classes, but the way everything has been this semester I will not be returning next semester. Now the most you can make off of a study guide is $35, but they still advertise people making $350 on their website. I am very disappointed with how they changed everything and then did not even tell us we just had to figure it out after winter break.
