Pros
Amazing flexible schedules. Being able to make up time off without using leave or being able to have working hours that you choose are the only benefits that make the job worth while. They also have a very high Veteran's preference. Great amount of holidays/leave given.
Cons
Poor management. Poor treatment of contractors from Government employees. Negative working environment. Government employees constantly look for ways to complain, write-up or negatively impact contractors. Low pay, even smaller raises (if you even get one), and no potential for career advancement.
