Pros

Lots of long term employees. People come here, and stay because it's a great company Those long term employees are willing to help the new folks with just about anything Lots of corporate expertise, and it's easily accessible Above average commissions for sales A million things to sell to a million different companies. Some truly great products that are the envy of the competition.

Cons

All those products make for a severe learning curve. This will take a lot of commitment For sales, the minimal car allowances are a joke. 401K contribution is low, although the fund performs very well Target account program pays the managers, but not the salespersons who are responsible to grow the Targets. It's a weird, backwards program that upper management loves. Note: The above average pay goes a long long way. In fact, most people just get over the details as soon as they get paid. Lets face it, if you're in sales, what do you really want? Commissions!! And, you can eventually make a whole lotta dough. Think $150-$200k and above. Far above for some.

Pros

Having supportive peers and colleagues.

Cons

Lack of effective training structure, poor incentives and commission, and shortages in inventory. Outdated systems are in place. Very old fashioned way of running the business that has not been proven to be effective. Outdated software systems with conflicting product pricing and inventory management. Poor communication from upper management and delay in responding to important issues as they arises. There’s no room for upward mobility or future advancement with this company.
