Pros

Weekly Pay is decent, but thats the most of it.

Cons

a typical day at work : it will never be typical. The only thing “typical” is that there will be fire to put out. Expect to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off. You can FOR SURE expect to NOT KNOW what to do for the day. There is a very clear lack of communication between department heads and an inability to properly delegate. what you believe you learned: you don’t learn much. It’s a monkey see monkey do kind of place. Don’t make it hard on yourself, it’s very much not worth the effort management: most have no business being in charge of other people. They can barely manage themselves. Again, going back to a clear lack of communication and inability to delegate. A lot of weird “office politics” come into play due to the blurred lines of the company tree. There is absolutely no structure. workplace culture: be prepared to walk on egg shells. You’ll be made to feel important (a lot) for menial tasks and then cut down immediately when you’re tasked to do something with little or no training. the hardest part of the job: staying. The pay is decent. Benefits are payed for which in this economy you almost cannot beat, BUT AND A BIG BUT, the company will not let you forget it. You’ll be reminded any time you step out of line. It’s hung over your head. No performance review, no cost of living adjustments. But hey, pot lucks are always fun right!? the most enjoyable part of the job: clocking out. Be smart. Put your head down, don’t speak up, and just clock in and out.

Pros

the occasional pizza party and the t-shirt with their logo on it

Cons

If you aim to expand your technical knowledge and gain experience in the tech industry, this isn’t the place for you. Resources to perform your job are limited, and the pay is low. Support is expected to manage a wide range of tasks, from assisting the build team while addressing customer complaints and inquiries, to managing a ticket queue of more than 100 tickets. Despite this demanding role, your salary will remain the same, and the responsibilities associated with your job are poorly defined. You will often be used as a scapegoat by the sales team, who push unresolved issues onto you, leaving you to deal with the fallout of complaints—all for less pay than they receive. The turnover rate in the department is high, leading to an influx of new coworkers every few months, who will start at the same pay as you but typically do only half of your workload. The roles within the company are not clearly defined. There are people with non-productive roles within the company whose job is to record poorly made social media content who every once in a while come over and give you lessons on how to effectively do your job and be productive.
