A lot of good people have left and feel cheated by the company.

Pros

The people. There are a lot of really interesting and fun people there.

Cons

I am scared to leave an honest review because the mgmt at S76 might retaliate but here is my personal opinion: S76 is not a trustworthy employer. Many people have left in the past year or two, and many of them feel cheated in some way. I don’t want to get into details so I will leave it at that, but beyond that the office moved to a warehouse very far away in Montbello by DIA and traffic is awful (45min to 1hr each way from downtown Denver). Pay is notoriously low, raises are extremely rare (once every 2-5 years as far as I know), and many employees work very demanding hours (some don’t seem to work much at all). Most importantly there is little-to-no opportunity to be promoted - a major reason why people leave - and because raises are extremely rare. Upper mgmt is very bro-ish amongst themselves and they lack formal mgmt skills and training. I would not advise friends or family to work here.

Pros

Weekly Pay is decent, but thats the most of it.

Cons

a typical day at work : it will never be typical. The only thing “typical” is that there will be fire to put out. Expect to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off. You can FOR SURE expect to NOT KNOW what to do for the day. There is a very clear lack of communication between department heads and an inability to properly delegate. what you believe you learned: you don’t learn much. It’s a monkey see monkey do kind of place. Don’t make it hard on yourself, it’s very much not worth the effort management: most have no business being in charge of other people. They can barely manage themselves. Again, going back to a clear lack of communication and inability to delegate. A lot of weird “office politics” come into play due to the blurred lines of the company tree. There is absolutely no structure. workplace culture: be prepared to walk on egg shells. You’ll be made to feel important (a lot) for menial tasks and then cut down immediately when you’re tasked to do something with little or no training. the hardest part of the job: staying. The pay is decent. Benefits are payed for which in this economy you almost cannot beat, BUT AND A BIG BUT, the company will not let you forget it. You’ll be reminded any time you step out of line. It’s hung over your head. No performance review, no cost of living adjustments. But hey, pot lucks are always fun right!? the most enjoyable part of the job: clocking out. Be smart. Put your head down, don’t speak up, and just clock in and out.
