Pros

SystemTec's interviewing and onboarding process went extremely smoothly and my Consultant Relations Rep was great at keeping up with us and making sure we had what we needed to do our job from SystemTec's end. Vision and Dental benefits were nice and affordable. The company took us out for lunch or dinner quite a few times which is always nice. Whenever I had any questions about anything, or issues with any of our timekeeping or payment websites they were almost immediately handled.

Cons

Health/Medical Benefits are crazily priced, especially for the pay I was receiving. You're better off finding independent coverage as it will almost definitely be cheaper. There is also no PTO or any sort of vacation offered to contractors at all. Pay for the area I was working in (Greensboro, NC) is below average for the work the team I was on was doing, but still livable. These things make the specific position I was in a rotating door position, where people would be hired on and stay until they found a permanent position somewhere else (usually within 6 months) and leave.

Pros

They were the most helpful and reliable recruiters I worked with during my job search. They responded quickly to job postings, maintained strong relationships with local companies, and their representation made me stand out from other applicants. They supported me every step of the way, from resume building and interview coaching to getting to know me well enough to match my skillset with the right opportunities.

Cons

I haven't worked with them long enough to provide a fair negative assessment. So far, my experience has been entirely positive.

Pros

Boutique firm, flexibility with remote work if needed.

Cons

Not a lot of new business in the area and hard to find local qualified candidates. Not really a con, Columbia market has always been a tough market to attract viable candidates that would relocate to the area.
