Pros

Very little actual work – If your goal is to coast, you’ll fit right in. Productivity is not measured by impact but by how well you can sit through meetings. • Survive by bullshitting – As long as you sound busy and throw in a few buzzwords, you can last for months without contributing anything meaningful. • Plenty of time for side projects – Since actual deliverables are rare and direction is constantly shifting, you’ll have time to explore your own interests, just don’t get caught doing something useful. • Zero accountability – Because no one knows what they’re doing, there’s no one to question your work either.

Cons

If you’re considering joining TalentNeuron, take a moment to reconsider. The company has undergone three rounds of layoffs in just the first two quarters of this year alone, with more expected. This is not new – layoffs happened last year as well. Rather than stabilizing, the company doubled down by acquiring another firm in a survival move, only to trigger another wave of layoffs as the acquiring company exerted control. Leadership instability is another red flag. Senior leaders, including a newly hired CTO and other management personnel brought in just last year, were let go within months. The result? Low morale, high attrition, and a culture where no one feels secure or motivated. You won’t find many negative reviews online because laid-off employees are offered 6 months of severance on the condition they don’t post anything critical publicly. It’s easy to guess which option most people take. If you’re serious about understanding what it’s like to work here, search on LinkedIn for people who left TalentNeuron in the past 6 months. Many of them will give you an honest, behind-the-scenes view. The environment is dominated by micromanagement and nepotism. Roles are filled without proper interviews—just connections. People are parachuted in as VPs or senior leads with no real qualifications, leaving actual work to fall apart. Unless you’re in a desperate job search with no alternatives, this is not a company worth your time, talent, or peace of mind.

Pros

The marketing team is upbeat, supportive, and makes meetings enjoyable. Cross-collaboration runs smoothly and other departments are willing to pitch in where they can.

Cons

There is so much product development/M&A-induced change/innovation that additional hats must be worn and role responsibilities are in flux.

Pros

The company has understandably struggled with the transition from a legacy transactional data business to a strategic AI/SaaS platform offering. This transition is hard and requires rewiring of both GTM and corporate execution, which, to the point of other reviews on here, hasn't been as well-led or executed as it could have been. That said, there is a passion and eagerness to get this right, learn from mistakes, and invest in the team. The product itself is a potential game-changer, and the product and sales teams have gained significant momentum around it. The recent change in CEO is a strong signal both internally and externally that we are committed to getting this right, and since this move, the business has rallied in a way I think most would say they've not seen from TN in the past in terms of energy, positivity, and actually getting meaningful work done on our biggest gaps as a business. It feels like what should have happened last year is actually happening this year, which makes this an exciting time and a place where one can have a large impact. From my perspective, our current exec team cares about the success of the business and our people, and is more engaged than ever in making sure that is felt. Hopefully this continues!

Cons

There are still some leftover culture detractors who are stuck in the old TN mindset and are not bringing the positive energy to the business that it deserves/needs. These individuals need to either join the movement or leave. Our corporate team members don't always view their role as sales enablers. Lots of chunky "Gartner-days" processes that work against GSD fast.
