Pros

Physically working in the office with such accomplished, driven, and demanding individuals always around, you might think that the environment would be stressful/scary for someone new to the business/industry. At TalentRISE, this COULD NOT BE MORE INCORRECT. Whether your working with the CEO, one of the Partners, or anyone else here for that matter, there is such a high level of mutual respect & friendliness among everyone. TalentRISE has a unique, close-knit environment that I'd hope to find in any business I work in.

Cons

Working with those accomplished and driven individuals occasionally means that they all have meetings across the city at once. This can leave the office fairly quiet on those rare occasions. This is not really a con for someone like me who appreciates a nice quiet environment every now and again, however something to think about for those who always require an upbeat workplace in order to get their work done.

Yep, I hear you. Have been there myself on certain days, but they always prove to be very productive ones...if that's any consolation.

Pros

It sounds like a great fit for me, as the days are somewhat flexible to work with my life. My manager has been with the company for 20 years, so it seems like a place to advance.

Cons

I can't start fast enough!

Pros

TalentRISE is an RPO that hires recruiting professionals throughout the country to work as 1099 contractors for high profile clients. The client base is varied with some truly excellent names, and the ability to work from home in a full-time position is amazing for work/life balance. TalentRISE pays very well, on an hourly basis. Overtime available for certain situations. Very good ATS system that is easy to learn and use Great teammates across the country - even though you are by yourself in your home office you never really feel alone.

Cons

Biggest con is POOR communication from management. E-mails to higher ups typically go completely unanswered. This is especially frustrating if you are wondering whether or not you have another project lined up. Even project managers, who are your direct report bosses, may ignore or simply neglect to answer your e-mails. Downtime between projects can be excruciatingly long. With poor communication thrown in, you may now know when you start up next. Projects often end early due to shifty clients constantly changing their needs. Again, communication a major issue between management and client and recruiter. Manager will tell you one thing, client will tell you something completely different, and then both will get on your case because you were given misinformation by one or both parties.
