Pros
Great friends and connections made here. Free lunches and drinks during election season and engaging activities. Felt like you were part of something with the community.
Cons
Too bad that was all ruined with 150 ppl getting laid off through Zoom. My team was complete decimated and everything we were building up towards was never fulfilled. It was so sudden and unexpected that projects were still being assigned that very morning. Promises of promotions and raises were thrown out the door and we got laid off instead. I love the community and my friends made there but can’t bring myself to trust the company and its leadership. Blatant lies and shady business. Not a good place to be no matter where you are in your career since you never know when it’ll turn from all good and green to getting laid off. There’s also little to no training provided in most teams when you climb the ladder. Many staff are incredibly young and they’re promoted to manager titles without any real training on how to actually be a manager. There’s so much toxicity from “managers” who emulate what they “think” a manager acts like and I’m constantly surprised how TV can function with financially and legally costly mistakes being made left and right due to the lack of training.
