Pros
Relatively good pay & benefits, slightly better than industry average., though not top end at all. As there are low periods in business when there is mostly nothing to do, there is a good work life balance and you can make time for yourself, friends and family.
Cons
The group is old and so there is some amount of bureaucracy. But that is quite okay, as you soon lose your over-zealous competitive edge and start enjoying the protection and security that bureaucratic decision making processes gives to middle management employees.
