Pros

Great place to explore every domain but you would have no trainer or a specifically designed program for apprentice trainees.

Cons

Zero growth opportunities and zero encouragement for problem solving. Meagre pay. GAT, DAT and ITI apprentice trainees are given the same work and almost same salary. Frequently made to do overtime with no extra pay. Trainees are treated more worse than servants. In office GATs are given special treatment as compared to in shop GATs i.e. the ones working in quality and production.

Cons

Career growth pace, promotions and salary hikes can feel slow.
