Pros

Excellent educational environment. Truly fostered my personal and professional growth. Ability to learn and work hands on with the owner of the company, partners and sales director. Learned the entire sales process thoroughly. Made many valuable industry contacts. A highly reputable science based agency servicing primarily Pharma and Biotech client base. The work is highly intellectual, challenging and engaging.

Cons

Select staff members: Negative, petty, self-important, 'big fish in a small pond'. You are to blame for your lack of success, not the company. Stop blaming management for the fact that you lack talent, drive, determination and education. Stop blaming management for the fact that you have no work either. Everyone that brings something to the table benefits; those who don't apparently can't make it and sit around posting nonsense on the internet in their free time since the obviously cannot find other employment. Stop using words like 'myopic'. Pseudo-intellectual with weak artistic abilities. It was amazing that you'd ever gotten hired in the first place. Lucky for you their was such an influx of creative work on the table that you were able to stay under the radar for a few months.

Pros

The learning curve is steep, but offers an opportunity to gain a lot of experience quickly. Very collaborative, very hands-on. You get back what you give. Management and senior leadership have all been here forever. If you’re willing to contribute and put forth an honest effort, you will succeed here. Clients operate at the forefront of life sciences, meaning you’re actually contributing to overall human health (as in: not helping big pharma peddle painkillers).

Cons

This is a self-starter environment that rewards initiative and accountability. If you’re looking for a large corporate structure where you can stay under the radar and coast, this may not be the right fit.
