Pros

Working with cats, fair employment, chances to grow, and improve your skills. I have been working at The Cats' Inn for 3 years now and I have never felt more at home within a job. I have grown to care for all of my co-workers and consider all of them friends, including the owner and managers. I began working here as a kennel assistant and from the beginning, I noticed the chance to grow and build a career. I was made a lead not too long after I started working because the managers and owner paid close attention to everyone's work performance and overall improvement. About 2 years in and I became a facility manager. I am extremely grateful to The Cats' Inn for allowing me to grow and improve my skills. My resume has improved tremendously since I started working here and my skill set is so much wider than it was before. Work performance is key in every job and The Cats' Inn is good at taking that into account. If you feel like you fit all the qualifications for this job then this is the right place to work at. We are all very honest and we all give the best at work and that's the type of people we would love to have with us at The Cats' Inn.

Cons

Watching the kitties go home until the next boarding appointment. I do not feel there is anything bad with the actual job, but more of the expectations people seem to have with the work place. The Cats' Inn is a place to work at, and while you will interact with adorable kitties, you do need to have a good work ethic to work here. I have personally seen people go due to the realization that this is a job, not a hobby. You are expected to complete a certain amount of duties in a certain period like all jobs. If you are not capable of learning how to follow specific rules this would not be a good place for you. We deal with live animals and our goal is to care for them and make sure they are all in good health, we will make sure to follow all rules and procedures to achieve this. Altogether, just like any job, you have to complete all of your duties and that is obvious and respectable. It is not fair to have people apply with immaturity and false expectations without even bothering to read the job application and all of its requirements.
