Terrible and unsafe work environment - Direct Care Professional The Learning Tree Employee Review

Terrible place to work zero work life balance at the Tallassee location there is not an actual teacher on staff students do BSPs in the morning then sit in the room all day doing nothing which then makes them bored and they act out, there is not a registered nurse on staff only an LPN, zero safety for staff you are injured by a student nearly every day as well as will be in PCM nearly all day everyday which takes a role on your body, zero security measures taken at the main campus doors are left unlocked all day where anyone can walk in or out which leads to many students just running out of the building throughout the day which then put both the staff and student in danger due to having to run through the road and neighborhood trying to catch them, they will tell you when you start and leave that you can’t take you certificates with you which is a lie make sure you remember logins and/or print out your own copies they can be taken with. You will constantly be put in questionable situations that you are not comfortable with many times you are left as a single staff to take care of 3 residents which is unsafe and irresponsible. Supervisors will put you in bad positions knowingly and let you take the fall for everything so they don’t get in trouble. As new hires you are immediately thrown into doing things you are unprepared for they advertise as an ID school but that is not the case you will deal with lots of non stop violence.
