      Being able to work from home

      Everything else is horrible. The company is poised for growth and I truly think some people are doding great things. The publisher I reported to needed to control everything, micormanage all your daily activities. Even when you hit your KPIs, they want to squeeze more and more from you, They want you to account for every minute of every day. Even if ;you're making budget or have Exceeded your budget, you are told you are not doing a good job and that you had better improve. I do NOT recommend working here

      I would agree that we are poised for growth having just won another major award for our workforce growth and company culture. One of several accolades now in just the past couple of years. The reality is that we are a high performance environment and that can feel different than one that isn't. That is what sets us apart in many good ways organization-wide.

      Pros

      Actually really enjoyed working with TheHomeMag and would have stayed because the management and team members were very positive and supportive and the corporate office had amazing reviews and growth plan.

      Cons

      Only con was that I was experiencing a personal crisis with several family members and couldn't devote the attention that was needed to land repeat or new business.

      Pros

      They have a few nice people in the organization but not many.

      Cons

      This organization is different. You will NOT see any diversity in this company. They do not care about employees. I have never seen a media company that you don’t meet with the Publisher/manager once a week for a 1:1 meeting to discuss your pipeline. They will hire you and fire you all within a few weeks. Only take this job if it’s your last resort!!
