Pros

Everyone has a direct impact in the success of the company. As such, workload is typically aggressive but manageable. If you ever feel like you are falling behind or aren't getting the support you need, management is accommodating and receptive to employee input as long as you're willing to maintain honest and open communication. The physical office environment is great. We have a large cafeteria that connects directly to a modest, open game area with a ping pong table and pool table. You'll often see people playing a few games over lunch or hear people shouting over Mario Kart the next room over. It's an open office (so no cubicles), but there are sufficient break-out rooms if you need to meet with someone or just work in solitude for a while. Everyone is equipped with a sit/stand desk and two monitors. There are a couple of small kitchens to prepare lunch or make tea or coffee. Coffee and snacks are provided. There's plenty of parking and a big grassy area that's great for company picnics or throwing a frisbee over lunch. But by far the best part of TherapyNotes is the company culture. Everyone here is dedicated not only to their own work but also to making sure that their entire team succeeds. It's a highly collaborative environment, and you're hard-pressed to find anyone who isn't willing to lend a hand when asked. As we grow, it can be tough to stay connected with everyone in the company, but monthly happy hours, company lunches for special occasions, and other events outside of work help to get to know those you may not work with directly. We play as hard as we work, and everyone's a joy to be around.

Cons

This isn't actually a con, but something that prospective employees should be aware of: Due to the nature of the healthcare industry, compliance, privacy, and security are extremely important here. Compared to other industries, there may be additional policies and procedures that all employees are expected to adhere to.

Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working here. Management makes employees feel valued and appreciated, which has stood out to me compared to other companies I’ve worked for. The company also offers an excellent work-life balance, and the pay is decent. Overall, it is a rewarding and supportive place to work.

Cons

No major cons from my experience. There can be occasional busy periods, but the overall work environment and support from management have been positive.

Pros

Great team culture which encourages closely working together and those with more experience teaching and helping new hires. Great healthcare, dental, and 401k benefits Good opportunities for long term careers Work from home allows for flexible schedules and less time and money spent on driving and gas. Teams always open for feedback on how to improve Fun team building exercises which make you feel like part of a family and not just a working team.

Cons

Quickly expanding company means growing pains, shifts to SoA, new hires, refactoring into Angular and simultaneous development of new features can lead to quickly out of date documentation and unexpected issues which block work items.
