Pros

Great colleagues Exposure to different industries

Cons

Managers overstep boundaries and display favoritism. ‘Fast-paced’ toxic work environment combined with constant micromanagement. Targets are unrealistic with the expectation to work above and beyond, but no overtime pay. No work-life balance, no company culture, and most employees are unhappy. No diversity and all upper level management in recent years are not POC.

Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. You bring up points that are really important to us, so hoping to provide some clarity and would be open to discussing your experience more (reach us at team@thirdbridge.com). We agree that we have great colleagues and the exposure to lots of different industries and experts is a great opportunity to fast-track your career development. We are a client-facing business, so sometimes we have to work after or before typical work hours, but we try to make up for that time with flexibility and perks. We strive to build our culture on that balance -- one that fosters a desire to learn and build connections within and outside of Third Bridge. That culture, while great on paper, only works if we have the right people to practice and embed it in our day-to-day environment. We're fortunate to have a talented and diverse group of employees and leaders to do just that. We know there's always room to improve and are routinely seeking opportunities to continue supporting our underrepresented and marginalized employees, and we're proud to have women, queer folks, and people of color at the helm to help us achieve those goals.

Pros

Good entry-level opportunity with exposure to fast-paced, client-facing work. The company hires driven, sociable individuals and can be a strong starting point for building communication, prioritization, and execution skills in a high-performance environment.

Cons

High turnover and inconsistent management quality significantly impact the employee experience. Success is heavily dependent on your team lead and manager, with limited recourse if you’re placed under ineffective leadership. In my experience, poor communication, lack of emotional intelligence, and unclear expectations from management made it difficult to succeed and negatively affected day-to-day productivity. Internal processes around performance management and PTO lacked transparency. I was placed on a PIP and terminated shortly after (within a week) in a way that felt abrupt and not aligned with prior communication, which was initially framed as a discussion around pending PTO. There were also delays in PTO approvals, and I experienced issues with compensation adjustments following a promotion that required follow-up to resolve.
