Pros

* Good coffee machine, overtime hours, fresh leads (potentially generated in shady fashion)...

Cons

From my experience at Tort Intake Professionals, I'm of the opinion that this company is in violation of several FTC, Nevada State Bar Association, and Nevada Attorney General rules for the following: * Calling prospects outside of local calling times of 8AM-9PM * Refusing to utilize CRM features to block calls outside of local call times * Allowing employees at all levels access to highly sensitive client data, including personal medical records and social security numbers of clients * Intake Agents representing themselves as employees of over 30 separate law firms. Meanwhile, Tort Intake Professionals is just a lead generation company filling out a questionnaire to resell to actual law firms. * Not abiding by Facebook or FTC regulations with respect to social media advertising disclosure by not supplying enough information to, or concealing required information from the public * Not placing inbound callers whom specifically demand to be put on the National Do Not Call Registry on the DNC Registry and writing up employees for doing so * Repeatedly and exceedingly calling prospects, outbound, several months after their initial online inquiry, well beyond the TCPA's 3-month rule for non-clients, and 18-month rule for clients * Potentially calling each fresh lead up to one hundred or more times, within the first 5 minutes of an online inquiry, due to unethical sales practices, vast disorganization, managerial ineptitude, and negligence * Fraudulently misleading trusting senior citizens and uneducated people into thinking that signed online retainers aren't binding, knowing full well that they are in fact binding * Tort Intake Professionals is potentially in violation of acting as a law firm by requesting medical records (per the allegedly non-binding signed retainer) to complete a file to be sold in the future to a legitimate law firm Just to be safe, I reported Tort Intake Professionals to the FTC, Nevada Attorney General, and Nevada State Bar Association, and will be following up, diligently, to make sure I'm not working at an illegal boiler room operation.

Pros

The pay and benefits are good, the kind every job seeker wants. Nice break room, nice building, clean, modern. Work schedules are as early as 6am to 7pm Pacific time and can include weekends, but there's flexibility in getting regular days off.

Cons

There's one a week of training when you start, then there's a test you take. If you don't pass, then you're let go. The standard that's considered passing makes no sense, very arbitrary. In talking to experienced Intake Specialists, the culture is very much here today, gone tomorrow, you have to prove yourself every week when it comes to getting callers and prospects on social media to become customers of the company. It's a sales job and you have to meet productivity requirements. There are other customer service type jobs that pay less, but better job security. Proceed with caution if you quit a job to work at Tort Intake Professionals.
