These were few and far between. Remote during covid but required local staff to return. They prioritized local hires even when there was much better talent in the remote realm.
Cons
Numerous layoffs in just a short period of time. The company is more am ego boost and platform for the CEO to make himself feel important. If you weren't part of the inner circle you were nothing. No job advancement opportunities. No career development. Layoffs were a popularity and loyalty contest. You only survived if you didn't challenge the status quo. Back stabbing employees from the top to bottom. No innovation. The core platform has never changed and shiny objects are duct taped on top of a crumbling code base that not a single employee actually knows what it is.
