Pros
-A large majority of the staff were genuinely kind and friendly people, which cannot be said for a lot of work environments (Chicago office). -The management team, specifically for Client Services were fantastic. They were always happy to answer questions, provide education, and assist with the variety of issues that one might encounter in this role. They also encouraged myself and others to pursue obtaining our securities licenses. They were an awesome resource for someone who is young and new to the industry. Shout out to the Chicago Managers. -The office is located a stone's throw away from Union Station, so the commute is easy for those living outside of the city. -Solid benefits package (401k, HSA, etc.) -Monthly raffles with awesome prizes, as well as Employee of the Month and performance-based rewards that were not competitive in nature.
Cons
-Raises were relatively small, equal or less than inflation. -Bad work ethic was tolerated in some instances
