Pros
In my role as an implementation specialist I was given much leeway in my schedule. I was assigned projects and I had revenue goals but the scheduling of my project deliverable was left up to me and I was given the freedom to maintain my own schedule as long as my implementations were good quality (rated highly by the client) and I hit my revenue goals. Great experience for those who don't like to be micro-managed.
Cons
Work live balance could become a challenge when trying to maintain client satisfaction AND hit revenue goals. Most implementations were properly scoped so this was not a typical problem but happened from time to time.
