Misclassification - Wildlife Biologist US Forest Service Employee Review

Pros

I get a small paycheck after getting a Masters degree. Getting paid the same or less as people with no degree.

Cons

So many cons but one major issue is the inconsistency of job duties and workload. HR calls it a “multi-series” making my position valid to cover duties I don’t qualify for per OPM. This is especially the case in the southeastern states. A “wildlife” biologist is responsible for fish, botany, weeds, and more. This should never have been allowed on a position description. Each one of those resources have their own academic requirements that I don’t qualify for, but I’m the expert in each because they’re in my PD? I’ve held Wildlife Biologist positions in other agencies and other locations and none of them had duties outside of terrestrial wildlife
