Pros
There are some very passionate individuals working for Upromise striving towards the end goal of helping families save and pay for college. They love what they do and have been with the organization for many years. Upromise does tuition reimbursement at 5k a year. Relatively flexible schedule.
Cons
The acquisition by Sallie Mae changed the culture of the organization. There have been numerous layoffs over the years Mamy star employees have voluntarily moved on from the organization leaving chaos behind. The health care benefits are terrible.
