      Pros

      Nice engineering team. Good location.

      Cons

      A sinking ship. In the past two years or more, the company has been trying to build a killer app for cyber-security. Its products do have many better features than existing solutions, but the company suffers from weak leadership, messy management, lousy marketing and sales team. The moral is low and gets lower after several rounds of serious layoffs. The management let go the best engineers and kept the not-so-good sales/marketing people to sell the not-so-good products. I can't see the future of this company.

      Pros

      VIPRE has been part of Ziff Davis since 2018. The company has been transformed within the last few years with a new leadership who really cares. Our voices are heard and we have new employee platforms that help managers to motivate and reward our teams. Our benefits are outstanding and compensation is on the market. There is a lot of opportunity for growth and advancement.

      Cons

      Remote work could be challenging but we have team meetings and use regular video Zoom meetings, play games, and stay connected. We also can travel to meetings and events.
