      Met a lot of great people striving for more!!!

      Position was not even understood by upper management when I got hired. I was told one thing by HR then another when I got to the branch. Management had no direction, employees were hired to fill a spot. NO STANDARD for professionalism In all my years of banking I have never experienced anything like this. 20 plus years. this bank was discouraging yet striving for change yet leaving the same individuals with same capabilities hence bank is at a stand still and not progressing.

      Pros

      - Very good learning experience - Knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful people in the office

      Cons

      The Chicago office is a commercial site, so all other interns for the bank sit in either New Jersey, New York, or Florida. Not necessarily a bad thing because it helped form better connections with everyone in the office, but networking with other interns was more difficult.

      Not one thing is good. Do not work here

      Cons

      Retail is a nightmare. Senior Management is clueless. Lots of older managers being “laid off” due to position being eliminated. But positions not eliminated.
