Pros

During the interview Marco, Shaun and Drew all told me this place will change you. It will force you to develop leather skin and fearlessness. They said even if you do not make as the top dog here, you will most likely be the top do where ever else you go because of what you learned here. I stayed with the company from 2014-2015, I watched, listened, learned and laughed with not just my team, but with people across the floor as well as management. We were all in it together, winning together and struggling together. There is definitely pressure to succeed, but we're in sales that's life. There were times I disagreed with the commission structure changes and other changes, this led some of us to leaving, while others adjusted. I eventually left after my one year mark, but that was because I was being bombarded with recruiters and HR reps who were hoping to poach. People in sales know the caliber of people Varonis churns out. They want us. I honestly miss the place and the camaraderie. Good times were had.

Cons

Pressure to succeed. Changing commission structures that aren't always in our favor.

Pros

Benefits are great, random gifts throughout the year, top notch team support

Cons

Company is so compartmentalized no one team has any idea of what is going on with another, which is specifically frustrating when it comes to pay/commission. They keep purchasing other companies without properly integrating into the existing product and have to basically re-invent how to use the full potential of said product to interact with what they already have, leaving a lot to be desired. Hiring new positions with specific goals in mind, but have the same title so are treated the same when it comes to OTE creating a substantial pay cut. Especially when they are brought in to make certain parts of the team and product better.
