      Ability to work to own schedule remotely

      Cons

      Work is rapidly becoming harder to secure since original company purchased and absorbed by Verbit/Vitac. No communication from company. Very impersonal. It is an AI company, but human skills remain necessary, at least for now.

      Responsive teams willing to answer questions. Flexible. Interesting work, realistic timelines, platform is usually bug free.

      Pros

      The flexibility and remote work is great. For the most part, anyone I have interacted with (via email as it is the only way to communicate with anyone) has been very pleasant. I have learned a lot from this position and have been able to grow my transcription skills.

      Cons

      It has been extremely difficult to get work for the past several months. I have reached out to management about it and have only been told that workloads will increase eventually. We have not received any communication regarding the lack of work, however, the website shows that the company is hiring additional Legal Transcriptionists. It is becoming very disheartening,
