Pros

The work itself is very rewarding when I'm involved in patient care. I enjoy many of my colleagues who are roles at the same level I am (the other dietitians and therapists). It's a good learning experience, seems like working in inpatient or residential is required to get a foot in the door in outpatient. I enjoy working with adults vs. adolescents so the patient population is ideal. From what I hear, the "merge" with the Emily Program was a very positive thing because it sounds like they saved Veritas from being a sinking ship.

Cons

Management is belittling all around. It's the norm for my supervisor to talk poorly about other dietitians to me, so I know that's how she's talking about me to others. Inconsistency is the norm - sometimes I feel like I'm doing well and I'm on good terms with the company and then all of sudden I feel like I'm not. They definitely have a pattern of nit-picking but also expecting you to understand how to do everything from day 1 before you really get the chance to "drink the Veritas juice."
