Generally a good company, but not for everyone - Anonymous employee Vinted Employee Review

Rapidly growing headcount results in never ending changes in the company's structure and responsibilities. Sometimes it feels chaotic. Problems from the cultural side. On the one hand company tries to present themselves as a startup with highly caring and empathetic people. But on the other hand with such growth in organization it became very corporate and hierarchical. Much work seems to be more about planning, OKRs, describing functions among the teams, managing people, less about the actual work. This 'soft' cultural side still is super important when doing yearly reviews, which means that if your job performance is ok, then you get grilled about some abstract and subtle 'cultural fit' things. Obviously common sense and manners are not enough. At least under certain managers this is the case. Due to this growth there are some inexperienced managers that are either not mature or not competent to hold leading position. It's almost impossible to proactively suggest your ideas that don't fit the tasks in quarterly OKRs. At least I never got an approval from my lead to work on my initiated project. Corporate rigidity at its finest :) Too enthusiastic HR with so called inclusion and diversity program that sometimes seems to hire people based on gender quota, not the best skill set for the position.
