Pros

Exposure to challenging on-the-job opportunities; constant work flow and information overload; so many great people with outstanding personalities and intelligence. Great work environment from the lobby, security, amenities, up-to-date equipment, (professional atmosphere). If you love to work, which I do, there is always something to be involved with and people to identify with.

Cons

Lower level employees (office services) were "job-leveled" not realizing that they had taken on an abundance of the duties of people that either retired, moved to another position or terminated employment after the merger. So the employees hired in at a certain title and "pay grade" many years prior to the merger, were actually doing the work of several titles that paid from double to triple. The internal "rewards"/programs that are out there, don't apply to all staff (lower levels) so the low pay can only be rewarded with a great deal of extra work/overtime or involvement in special projects (office moves, for example, where you may get a gift card or paid lunch). There has been a great deal of delegation of duties among the senior staff, which is often a good thing, unless it's delegated to someone who has to work through lunch, come in hours early or stay late to accommodate it -- only to look back and see the person who provided the extra work leaves early or on time most days, is able to take extravagant vacations, spends time with family and can keep personal appointments (doctor, etc). So without realizing it, senior staff give the appearance that there is a true gap in equality among senior and lower level staff with time and work/life balance.

Pros

Learning everything about Life insurance, annuities and health

Cons

They are quite two-faced. Thry gas you up thinking you are doing well then turn around and terminate you for any slight. For instance---you must be on camera during training but we were told if we were sick or not feeling too well, we can ask for accomodation. With the understanding that it would be taken into consideration. Well...it isnt. They throw it back in your face. They do not like criticism. Say something wrong, you're done. They listen in on the classes and even if they think you said something the complete opposite of what was said and taken out of context, they do not care about the truth for you bruised their ego. Do not believe them when they tell you you are doing good during training. Its more about how much you want to be under WTW's influence. In other words, NO CRITICISM IS ALLOWED. I would write more but this should suffice.
