Pros

401k benefits, high sodium food in the break room, sodas with a high sugar content, and an 8 hour paying job.

Cons

Low pay, not challenging, management, and employees who back stab one another to get a higher pay. The bank is not competitive with other companies when it comes to paying employees. Internal transfers to gain more knowledge or development is frowned upon. Most times you won't get an increase even if it's a different position and if they do give an increase its $.50 more. Living in the Seattle area no one can make a living with the salary that they pay you. They try to offset the pay with a semiannual bonus which is variable based on how the company does for the year. Management do not listen to employees, for years that I've worked there I've had a few conversations with my manager about compensation and growth opportunities, but was always put on the back burner.

Pros

Primarily remote work. Decent PTO after the 4th year.

Cons

Limited staffing and limiting overtime opportunities until the bitter end of potentially missing deadlines, which you are guilted into working. 2% "raise" every January and ZERO merit raises. Gutted profit sharing and profitability bonuses over time. Most recent bonus, which is tied to net profit after dividends, was given a result when the scale was never published. All previous bonuses had a floor-to-ceiling profit scale that showed the targets months in advance of the end of the bonus period.
