Hostile and Disrespectful Environment for Female Engineers - Software Engineer WeTransfer Employee Review

As a female software engineer, my experience at WeTransfer was extremely negative. I was frequently looked down on by people from other teams for my casual dress, and my technical work was repeatedly questioned without justification. Even requesting code reviews was met with distrust, as if my competence needed to be proven constantly. I received little professional respect, no psychological safety, and experienced a generally hostile environment. This was not an isolated incident but felt embedded in the company culture. As an engineer, this was the worst company I have worked for, and I would not recommend it to developers who value respect, trust, and inclusion.
