Pros
For the most part, the best reason is that it's a great place to start and learn about supply chain management. As an employee, you will be exposed to all facets of the distribution/logistics business. In addition, you get to work with everyone in every department and have an opportunity to see where you can fit in.
Cons
Some of the downsides, is that senior management is slow at recognizing a good employees potential, but is quick to point out the bad.
