Pros

The community continues to support WDH despite the changes occurring that do not benefit employees or patients. Is this a pro? How long will this loyalty last?

Cons

Profits over people, not transparent, poor morale, safety concerns, senior leadership is not visible

Pros

Good Health Insurance, Roth 403B, tuition reimbursement (a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year for FT employees and $2,625 for PT employees). My specific location has an excellent work environment.

Cons

They gave me a raise this year, but the raise did not cover the Health Insurance increase, so I am taking home less money this year than I did last. My specific role has limited advancement opportunities and good luck to anyone trying to move up. They seldom advance anyone citing budget constraints and any other reason they can think of not to promote someone. For those trying to get their Nursing Degree and work FT: It is extremely and ridiculously difficult to do. The structure of the Nursing program at community and reg colleges is not conducive to FT employment and there are no other options in this area. If you are thinking you can just go to school PT, that only works up until you get to your nursing classes. If you have kids the difficulty can increase x2 or more. The reality is this program is meant more for the young and unburdened by children.
