Pros

Boise is a great place to live and work! The water industry can be an exciting place to be as the commodity is increasingly scarce and becoming more valuable as a result. When people leave the firm, they tend to get very good jobs with higher paying salaries.

Cons

The managing director has absolutely no management or people skills. As a result, turnover is extremely high and the firm doesn't attract top-tier talent. As a further result, the firm scrapes by on revenues that rarely top $3M. Employees aren't given clear direction and are held accountable when not being able to read the mind of the managing director. Managing director continuously jumps to false conclusions and makes rash decisions based on those false conclusions. This has caused good employees to leave the firm and has burned bridges with valuable connections in the industry. The managing director has a very short fuse, a troubled personal life and this carries over to the workplace. The consulting aspect of the firm feeds on low-cost, short-term projects that reputable consulting firms wouldn't touch.
