Pros
- Diverse, global staff - Benefits are fantastic - Many days off (not including vacation) - Inspiring mission, cool work - Great new CEO
Cons
- WMF is evolving in many ways and this takes time (there is an almost entirely new C-Suite). - The relationship between the Foundation and Community of editors (which is critical for Wikipedia to thrive) is still an open wound and it will take a long time to build trust. This hinders a lot of the development and growth that both the staff and community would like to see. Things that happened in the past still haunt the org and new leaders are working hard to fix some sub-par decisions that had been made. - The org still struggles with accountability. While improvements have been made and new leaders seem really promising, if bad managers and leaders aren't held accountable, nothing changes.
