Pros

1. The pace at which you are expected to work makes you a fast learner and explore new things 2. Good exposure to international clients/customers 3. VWO as a product is quite sophisticated and by understanding it from a technical standpoint, you would really come across new things

Cons

The following is my honest opinion, more so my actual experience with the organization and in no way I am expressing the following sentiments to defame or undermine the organization and its values: 1. Even though the shift timings are around 8 hours, you are expected to keep an eye on emails, secondary projects (**which I'll come to, a bit later!) 24x7 2. After working for a couple of months, it would almost appear as if you are working under the supervision of the CSM team (which by the way has no technical experience whatsoever in my opinion, even though the role's JD on their career page mentions otherwise!). 3. Support team is at the very epicenter of the whole organization because of which it is expected to support not only external customers/stakeholders but assist internal stakeholders as well. It almost appears that you are at the mercy of both customers and other employees (especially the CSM team!). 4. Because you are expected to indirectly work 24x7, it demolishes the work/life balance. Couple it with an erratic rotational shift system, things turn even worse! A lot of employees experience burnout and get frustrated because of this because of which many good employees (who worked for more than 3 years) have left, and in order to legally tackle this problem, the organization has initiated a mindfulness program! This is funny because, on one hand, the objective of the program is to curb employees' frustration for instance, by working for only designated working hours and enhance the work/life balance. However, the fact that we have to work on secondary projects outside our working hours (because during working hours you will not at all get time to work on these projects!) and the fact that performance in secondary projects is counted towards annual appraisal, makes your life miserable. 5. Secondary projects -- alongside your usual responsibility to provide support to customers, you are also required to work on some secondary projects. This can be anything: coding for a module inside VWO app, creating an in-house app, writing/editing & omitting articles, etc. These are definitely great for personal and professional growth and I truly gained a lot from these side projects. The catch however is that because you do not get time to work on these during your working hours and because this is counted towards performance, you naturally have to take the time off your non-working hours (every day). To make this easier to understand, my daily routine was as follows: 1. 14 hours (work for Wingify (usual responsibilities + side projects)) 2. 8 hours (sleep) 3. 2 hours (3-4 meals) The compensation is quite good and when you convey all of this to your manager or HR, you are responded with the same answer, "you get rewarded for what you are doing". In my opinion, mental peace and a good personal/professional life balance are more important than a few thousand rupees.
