It was been a challenging experience as a non-native Americans often face discriminatory treatment by leads, while favoritism towards certain employees by managers is evident. Despite dedicated hard work and long hours, particularly in departments like CS, KYC, PDD, Surveillance and AML, employees are not valued and are expected to work weekends, severely impacting work-life balance.
Employees are super micromanaged by tracking time even for basic needs. Those who are not favored risk being transferred or often through threats of being placed on a PIP without clear metrics. Transparency is lacks, no proper feedback or time spent on employees.
Mid and upper management exhibit poor leadership, in fact apart from your lead you'll never meet them, with inadequate office space forcing they force employees to WFO 3 days a week without sufficient desks.
They recent closed and laid off of over 400 employees in the Tampa office without prior notice via a simple sign on the door but they kept only the ones close to management they tried place them internally in Austin office & they gave them extra time. Discrimination based on personal preferences or ethnic background, coupled with an environment where escalating issues can lead to unwarranted termination, creates a toxic atmosphere with no room for dissent.
Training programs are poorly structured. Overall, I would not recommend anyone seeking a supportive work environment with fair treatment and opportunities for growth.
