Pros

Individual contributors are hardworking and make this place tolerable. Product is impressive and easy to sell.

Cons

I felt Darex worked hard to make sure your first couple months were full of positivity and delivered on what they promised as far as job duties and benefits. However, after the initial newness wore off I started noticing that the management, specifically the CEO played favorites based on how much he liked a person. This trickled down through management and felt like a clique in high school. You could clearly tell who wasn’t part of the cool crowd and nothing was based on how hard you worked or the amount you contributed. I would consistently hear what they called “3rd party talk” coming from the people who preached about not conducting this type of “talk”. You could then call someone out on doing this, and 15 minutes later be pulled into an office and reprimanded for doing so. So disappointing. One perk was ability to work from home occasionally and/or flexible hours on Friday. Be very careful about this - those who took advantage were looked down on for not working as much as those who opted to work the standard 8-5. Or my favorite, you must tell your manager exactly what you will be doing for the entire day. Micromanagement to the extreme no matter if you are the top performer or are always getting your work done.

Pros

Supportive and transparent leadership team that encourages ownership and accountability. The company values cross-functional collaboration and gives leaders the trust and space to drive real change. Strong culture, clear mission, and respect for diverse perspectives, especially across global operations. Opportunities to grow professionally, influence strategy, and work closely with passionate, capable teammates.

Cons

Our quality data is still on excel which can't be utilized by AI tool. The team can't get warming ahead of time from the risk of stacked tolerance. This is just one of the examples to show there are tons of opportunities ahead of us. In order to catch these opportunities, we will need to business intelligence mindset especially from leadership team. Meanwhile processes are still evolving in some areas and require patience while systems and structure continue to mature.
