Pros

Got to work with a some very smart people who left before I did!

Cons

Very messed up and non structured environment: I left within three months of joining as this place put me on mental counseling and gave me PTSD. They didn't even listened to me when I told them I had mental issues from the stress and the kind of control they wanted over my work. My manager completely ignored me. I don't know if that is illegal, especially given the kind of focus workplaces give to Mental Health. Continuous workout stress and burn out. My own team lead would take days off to relax from the PTSDs he would have, so did I. Nothing is organized and no objectives are clear! Vast micro-managed mentality: The root of this company's problems, as other reviews has outlined is the micro-management style they have. They keep pressing folks and show no trust in their people! Managers do bi-weekly meetings with each team member separately to compare their performance with other team members (as if they are not employing people but has kept them as slaved) with weird parameters like lines of codes pushed (lol) rather than discussing the help the team member needs and they would never appreciate the good effort team member put in! The level of distrust is up-to this level that each developer has to ask the CTO for an approval on an IM chat window if they need to push the code or not and CTO happily has a templated message which he replies back in one minute without even looking at the code! There is no development process and release process is all messed up. The environment and the management style has resulted in behavior where no one wants to collaborate and no standardized coding practices exist! The product is full of bugs and security risks with lots of loopholes. I worked on bugs that were 4 years old. The team has no idea of user privacy and audit control! The managers don't listen if you want to say No to them, as they are taught by this culture! No feedback is taken, resulting in stressful and chaotic enviornment!

Pros

The employees (outside of leadership) are some of the most supportive, collaborative, and resilient people I’ve ever worked with. Unfortunately, much of that comes from being “trauma bonded” through the instability here.

Cons

Leadership is deeply inconsistent — the CEO regularly disparages competitors but then recruits from those same companies. Constant layoffs and financial instability; cash flow is a major issue. Terminations during medical treatment (including chemotherapy), with leadership excusing it as “in the works for a while.” Inappropriate behavior at company events, including executives openly using substances where illegal. European leaders frequently act unprofessionally but face no consequences due to personal ties with the CEO. Sales layoffs are handled haphazardly; those who remain are often disengaged. Product misrepresentation: company inflates pipeline numbers, misleads investors, and exaggerates customer list (e.g., Starbucks is not actually a client). Roadmaps and product development are regularly misrepresented to prospects. Leadership turnover is stalled — senior executives remain in roles long after it’s clear change is needed. HR repeatedly fails to address inappropriate conduct, including personal oversharing by managers and harassment from colleagues. Employees are promised promotions or new roles that never materialize; instead, staff are burned out and let go.
