Management gaps hinder growth

Pros

- Good pay - Time off package was good - Hybrid (1 flex day per week)

Cons

- High turnover among both high-performing individual contributors and seasoned leadership. They've struggled with retention of its best talent across the organization. - While leadership labels it as "SaaS moving fast," the reality is a lack of clear strategy at the Director and VP levels. Constant pivots make it difficult to produce high-quality, sustainable output or see projects through to meaningful completion. - There is a heavy emphasis on speed and short-term wins. Hard work is generally rewarded with an increased workload rather than career progression or professional investment. - With an average of one layoff round per year, the environment can get dense. There is little room for mentorship or long-term career development; the focus is entirely on immediate survival rather than building for the future. - The combination of shifting priorities and lack of support creates a high-stress environment that is difficult to sustain long-term.

Pros

The interview process was smooth, well-organized, and communicated clearly from start to finish. Expectations, timelines, and next steps were transparent, which made the experience very positive. Onboarding has been well-supported. The team was welcoming from day one and proactive in helping me ramp up. There was a genuine effort to ensure I had the tools, context, and introductions needed to succeed. Strong team culture. Colleagues are approachable, collaborative, and willing to answer questions. There’s a noticeable sense of psychological safety where asking questions is encouraged. Clear communication overall. From recruitment through my first few weeks, communication has been timely and professional. Good exposure to cross-functional collaboration early on, which helps in understanding the broader business and product landscape.

Cons

There is a learning curve in the early weeks due to product complexity and internal terminology. It takes time to fully understand all systems and interdependencies. Priorities can shift quickly depending on business needs, which requires flexibility and adaptability.
