Pros
I've had a genuinely positive experience at Workhuman. The people are smart, supportive, and deeply committed to what we're building. There is a strong culture of recognition, and I've always felt trusted to do my job with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
The pace is fast, priorities can shift, and the business is constantly evolving. Personally, I enjoy that environment because it creates opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact. If you're someone who likes structure, predictability, and long planning cycles, it may not be the right fit. But if you enjoy solving problems, adapting quickly, and helping shape the future of a growing business, there's a lot to love.
The flexibility is one of the biggest benefits for me. I'm trusted to manage my time, focus on outcomes, and balance work with life outside of work. That level of autonomy is something I really appreciate as it means I can be present for life moments that matter to my family while meeting my commitments to the business.
Cons
The pace and level of change won't suit everyone. Like many SAAS companies in fast moving markets, there are times when priorities shift quickly and teams are adapting in real time. Greater clarity around career paths and internal mobility would make an already strong working experience even better.
