Pros

I learned a lot during my time with Workhuman. It was nice to take on different projects and to be able to use my skills and prove my value to the team. The schedule was very accommodating and flexible as they honored remote work. I enjoyed working in the team I was on and with my colleagues. I got paid well for what I did.

Cons

Disorganized, there was too much unnecessary information provided, and at the same time, not enough to do my job. Deadlines were unrealistic, and there seemed to be constant confusion about why certain processes were put in place. Constant structural changes made it hard to know where your position stood. My role and others were eliminated because the company joined the layoff bandwagon. Then my role was reposted again not too long after, except this time for hybrid work. Again, another company joining the "I need you in the office, so I can see what you're doing" club. I get it from a business standpoint. But if you have valued talent, and you sell recognition software and market to corporations on how to retain employees, you might want to do your best to practice what you preach.

Thank you for your feedback and it is regrettable that you felt this way about your time here. While we have been actively hiring after a difficult period in 2023, like so many other companies who had to implement a reduction in force, no roles were actively targeted to be rehired as hybrid where once they were remote. We have a very blended workforce and continue to have a large population of fully remote workers as well as hybrid and fully onsite employees. We wish you all the best in your next career destination.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for recognizing the strong relationships, flexibility, and benefits that many employees value at Workhuman. We recognize that customer-facing roles can be fast-paced and that experiences can vary across teams. As our business continues to mature, we're investing in stronger planning, clearer prioritization, and more effective ways of working across the organization. We'd also note that while recognition awards are an important part of our Total Rewards philosophy and are reflected in employees' Total Rewards statements, they are separate from base salary and bonus compensation. Recognition is first and foremost about celebrating meaningful contributions and impact, while also providing employees with tangible rewards for the great work they do. We know there is always more to do, and we remain committed to listening, learning, and improving the employee experience as we continue to grow. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective.
