Pros
- Intellectual / calibre bar is low, so if you’re a low performer you’ll most likely get away with it - Interviews are super easy so if you need a quick job this is the spot lol (just keep in mind it’s reflective of the calibre)
Cons
- Shiny ball syndrome - Lose brain cells after > 90% of convos - Mgmt talking about AI in a very cringe way that does not actually solve anything - If you’re political and be nice you’re good - so long as you’re okay with a dead end job (or a in between job because times are tough) HOWEVER if you have any critical thinking skills you genuinely will not survive. - People get fired outta no where for speaking up and random stories are made up as a cover which nobody believes (you’re not even paid enough to be treated that way lol) - To be a successful manager here, you have to be smarmy, that’s the long and short of it.
