World Manager Response
6yWe have taken this feedback directly on board over the years and made several changes to the Inside Sales role this review is based on. I do agree this is a very challenging role as the entry level sales position. In our early years we did not have official sales training programs and the teams were taught the techniques I personally used to build the business to where we got to in the market world wide. However, in early 2018 we implemented much more professional sales training programs for our sales teams in all regions.
We opened our US office in 2013. The first Inside Sales role we ever had is now our VP of Sales for North and South America. Two of the other first three inside sales people we hired are now National Managers in our Canadian and US regions. There is ample room for promotion from within, but it takes time, dedication, and an outstanding work ethic to get promoted to our top positions within the company. World Manager has been able to remain in business for over 13 years now and open offices all over the world because we internally promote the outstanding players to the top, and we are always tweaking our Leadership style to meet the new demands we face in business.
As the Founder of World Manager I have set many lofty goals to take my company from a desk beside my bed to being a global leader in our industry. I openly admit I have probably made more mistakes than any one in the history of business to get to where we are today. But my belief is, as a team we can achieve anything if we are all 'rowing in the same direction'. I also believe in swinging big and setting new goals every year. I personally do not always hit all my goals, and there will be lessons learned as we push forward for sure. When I have failed or stumbled along the way, I have stood back up and taken another shot, trying to not make the same mistakes twice. My philosophy is 'outstanding efforts equals outstanding rewards'...
