Cons
Limited growth potential Very top heavy org chart. - lots of manager not enough people to manage. Going beyond expectations is not rewarded well. Bonuses are given out at specific intervals based on specific metrics. My role (IT) has no way of interacting with any of the goals-which means regardless of whether I give 60 or 100 percent effort I will receive the same amount as everyone else. Yazaki did do lay offs in 2020 and we are still dealing with those consequences today. I don't believe they will do them again if they can avoid it, but it's something to be aware of. Many of the C-suite survived while their workers were let go. (New CEO however)
